Mr. Priyajit Kundu to Present Shirur Landslide Study at Geo-Congress 2026 (ASCE), USA  with ANRF support:

Mr. Priyajit Kundu, Research Scholar (Reg. No. 227CV012) in the Department of Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering), National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, has been selected to participate in a reputed international scientific conference with financial support recommended by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India.

Mr. Priyajit Kundu will be representing NITK Surathkal at ‘Geo-Congress 2026 organised by American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE)’, scheduled to be held from 9^th March 2026 to 12^th March 2026 at Salt Lake City, Utah, United State of America (USA). He will be presenting a research paper titled “Hybrid Approach Combining Machine Learning and Physics-Based Modelling: A Shirur Landslide Case Study using SCOOPS-3D and Random Forest” co-authored and supervised by Dr. Sreevalsa Kolathayar and Dr. Pruthviraj U.
