MBA Admissions at NITK Surathkal

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme offered by the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management is designed to develop managerial competence, leadership skills, and strategic decision-making abilities through a rigorous curriculum and industry-oriented learning environment.

MBA Admission Categories

Regular Admissions

Admissions are conducted in accordance with the Ministry of Education (MoE) guidelines issued from time to time. Selection is based on the candidate's CAT/MAT/CMAT score, performance in the qualifying examination, and interview.

Full–time self–financed

For the Full-Time Self-Financed category, seat allotment is based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination, a national-level written test, and a technical interview. The written test and interview are conducted in physical mode at NITK by the respective Department Postgraduate Committee (DPGC) of the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management. Selection is made by assigning due weightage to each component as determined by the DPGC.
