Dr. Sandi Kumar Reddy has got two Research project grants

The Department of Mining Engineering received funding for two research projects from two different agencies. The details of the research projects are given below:

1)      VGST Research Grant to Dr. Sandi Kumar Reddy and Dr M Aruna

VGST (K FIST L1) Research Grant has been awarded to the Research Project Proposal  "Underground Mine Real-Time Air Quality Monitoring and Assessment at Surface Control Room based on LoRa Sensors, IoT and Machine Learning Techniques"

 The total cost of the project: Rs. 15,00,000/-

Duration: 2 years

2)      KSMCL, Govt of Karnataka, Research Grant to Dr. Sandi Kumar Reddy and Dr M Aruna

Karnataka State Mineral Corporation Limited (Govt of Karnataka undertaking) Research Grant has been awarded to the Research Project Proposal " Scientific study for pit stability study of Subbarayanahalli Iron Ore Mine & Thimmappanagudi Iron Ore Mine "

 The total cost of the project: Rs. 9,98,000/-

Duration: 1.5 years
