A workshop on Successful Academic Writing is being held on 21st September 2019, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with Prof. Ian Holman, Chair Professor of Integrated Land and Water Management, Cranfield University, United Kingdom, as the resource person. Prof Holman has authored over 100 peer-reviewed academic papers, most in high impact international journals including Nature Climate Change, Global Environmental Change and Environmental Research Letters. He was founding Co-Chairman of the International Association of Hydrogeologists' Commission on Climate Change and Groundwater (2003-11). He has secured over £3.3 million in high margin consultancy and research income and is PI on recent and ongoing major projects to model European agriculture and food security under climate change (MACSUR 1 and 2), drought risk management (MaRIUS, HistoricDroughts, ENDOWS, DRisk and DRisk2); agricultural adaptation to climate change impacts in India (MICCI), sustaining water resources for food, energy & ecosystem services (SusHi-Wat) and impacts, adaptation and vulnerability to climate change (CLIMSAVE, IMPRESSIONS).
